Odisha NEET UG counselling process is conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). OJEE conducts the counselling process for the undergraduate medical courses, MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS. It is the state counselling for the 85 per cent State Quota (SQ) seats of the Odisha state. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling. Yes, it is mandatory for the applicants to appear separately for the PGIMER BSc Nursing exam because NEET-UG score will not be aceepted by PGIMER, Chandigarh for the BSc nursing programme. PGIMER BSc Nursing exam is a gateway for admission into BSc nursing course and the candidates should have passed class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. A separate counselling will be conducted by PGIMER for grating admission to candidates on the basis of the merit scored in the entrance exam.

According to Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the authority for NEET counselling, certificates issued by the competent authority on standard format, should be in English or Hindi language. Some of the states insist for certificate in English language only. Candidates are advised to carry certified (attested) Copy of English version of the original certificate, in case certificate
issued is in other than English language, along with original certificate.

Candidates who have been allotted seats at the end of a round of NEET counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) need to bring their original certificates at the time of reporting. The terms Clear Vacancy and Virtual Vacancy are related to the NEET seat matrix, which is released prior to each round of counselling. Clear Vacancy means empty or unclaimed seats at the end of the institute reporting process conducted at the end of each round. After the declaration of the seat allotment result, if a candidate exits the seat, then those seats come under the Clear Vacancy category. On the other hand, Virtual Vacancy refers to the seats which are considered to be available, if candidates allotted those seats opt for upgradation. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET UG Round 1 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 1097 and closing rank was 1097 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in KGMU is based on the scores obtained in the NEET UG entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

KGMU NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment resulst has been released for admission to the MBBS courses. As per KGMU NEET UG cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing rank was 1097 for General category candidates in All India quota for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). KGMU cutoff for MBBS varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
KGMU admission 2023 to MBBS and BDS courses is based on NEET UG scores followed by NEET UG Counselling which is conducted by the MCC everyyear for round-wise seat allotment.

NIMS University offers admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) based on NEET UG scores. Candidates seeking NIMS University admission 2025 must have a valid scores in order to be eligible for further process. NIMS University NEET cutoff 2025 is not available yet.
