Yes, you are eligible for the NET JRF examination in Management after the M.Com in Applied Economics. The UGC NET eligibility norms require that the candidates who have secured 55% marks in their postgraduate degree from a UGC-recognized university shall be considered eligible for the exam. Since Applied Economics is an appropriate subject, you meet the educational qualifications in the Management subject. Hello Nikita,
To prepare for the NET exam, there has to be a focused mindset. Begin by reading the syllabus of your subject and dividing the topics on the basis of weightage. Prepare a day-by-day study schedule, which includes both Paper 1 (Teaching & Research Aptitude) and Paper 2 (your subject of choice).
Use standard books, read previous years' question papers, and practice regular mock tests. Revision is the key, so keep on summarizing key concepts. For Paper 1, practice logical reasoning, comprehension, and data interpretation
All the very best!
