Yes, you can sit for the NTA NET even after getting your MA in English if you want to pursue a PG Diploma in Criminal Justice, but generally speaking, for taking the UGC NET Criminology Exam, a Master's in Criminology or other related subjects is a pre-requirement.
Since your educational background is in English, you would want to verify whether the NTA permits candidates having a degree in a related field to apply for the Criminology subject. The UGC NET 2025 December session application form correction dates released along with the notification on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The application correction dates were November 10 to 12, 2025. Candidates who will made a mistake while filling out the application form will be able to make corrections from a particular period as mentioned in the UGC NET 2025 notification.

The CSIR NET 2025 certificate is valid for lifetime for Assistant Professor. On the other hand, the award of JRF is for a fixed tenure and does not imply an assurance or guarantee for subsequent employment. The CSIR NET JRF certificate is valid for two years from the date mentioned on the certificate.

CSIR NET City Intimation Slip 2025 for the Dec session has been released on the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in to facilitate the candidates where the exam city and centre are located for the exam. To download the exam city slip candidates are required their application number and date of birth.
