According to unofficial sources, the acceptance rate of the university is around 80%, which means out of 100 applications, around 80 students are accepted. This shows the university is lenient in admission, as long as the applicants meet the basic eligibility requirements as per their program, submit all the necessary documents, and properly complete the application. The University of Newcastle does not charge an application fee that students are supposed to pay while applying to the university. Applicants must simply meet the basic eligibility criteria as per their programs, which include meeting the academic requirements of a high school graduation for UG programs and a bachelor's degree from a recognised university for a PG prorgams.
