The most affordable way to travel in Sydney is via public transport using an Opal card. While most Indian students are not eligible for student concessions that come with the Opal card, there is a maximum cap of weekly travel costs (AUD 50-60 or INR 3.3 K-INR 3.9 K).
This means students can enjoy unlimited travel in Sydney (or NSW) with the costs never going above the AUD 50-60 cap.
The Opal Travel app is available across relevant app stores.
