On August 3, 2023, the conducting authority published the NID DAT Cut Off 2023 on its official website. The percentile of most recent applicants accepted into the B.Des/M.Des programmes at various NID campuses is the NID DAT 2023 cut off. The DAT cut off is usually given separately at each level of the NID 2023 selection process. The NID DAT 2023 deadline for the B.Des and M.Des programmes has been made public by the National Institute of Design. The NID Entrance Exam is considered among the toughest design entrance exam conducted in the country. In NID DAT, more weightage is given to subjective, drawing related questions.
Experts and test takers state that the overall difficulty level of the NID DAT 2022 exam was moderately difficult.As per NID DAT 2021 exam analysis, the level of difficulty of the question paper for the BDes course was easy to moderate. There was a small change in the NID exam pattern this year with respect to the marking distribution.

The National Institute of Design (NID) conducts NID Counselling for admission to BDes and MDes programmes. Firstly, NID declares MDes results on the official website. The candidates can view their results by entering the login credentials online though the official website at admissions.nid.edu. The next step is NID DAT Counselling Round 1 Seat Allotment for admission to MDes programme, selected candidates are to give the confirmation of the seat, payment of non-refundable fees, and uploading of documents for the MDes course in a given time period. The admit cards for the DAT Prelims exam will be released on December 12, 2024. The admit card has to be downloaded online from the NID admission portal - admissions.nid.edu. In the log-in window that opens, enter your email id and date of birth. On the day of the DAT Prelims exam, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof along with the admit card. Note that the admit card will carry details like the date and time of the exam, roll number, and exam centre name and address. In addition, it will also contain exam-day guidelines.

Whether all the answers have been marked. Whether there has been any mistake in the totaling of marks for each question in Part II of answer booklet and transferring the marks correctly onto the first cover page of the answer booklet
NID officials will not entertain re-evaluation of the answer script or other work done by the candidate as part of the examination.
