Yes, the correction window will open in the NID application form where you can edit your SOP questions. The correction window for the NID DAT 2025 application form will be available from December 6 to December 11, 2024. In this time, you can login to your registered account on the official website of NID and make any necessary corrections by editing the SOP questions. Although some of the details such as the name, date of birth, and the registered email ID cannot be changed after submission, make sure to verify them before submitting again.

Preparing for NID DAT using the best books can increase one's chances of getting a good score in the entrance exam. Some recommended books to prepare for NID DAT are mentioned below:

• Arihant's Ultimate Guide for NIFT/NID/IIFT Entrance Exam

• NIFT/NID/IIFT Entrance Exam Guide by RPH Editorial Board

In addition to these books, Candidates should focus on solving past exam papers, sample papers and mock tests regularly in order to ace the exam.

On April 28, 2024, the National Institute of Design (NID) held the Studio Test for the B. Des programme. There was no online version of the Studio Test. It should be noted that, in contrast to M.Des applicants, B. Des candidates are not obliged to attend any interviews. On April 15, 2024, admit cards for the Studio Test became available. The National Institute of Design (NID) is expected to conduct the DAT Prelims exam in the first week of January 2026.

The B.Des exam will be held around 10 am - 1 pm; meanwhile, the M.Des exam will be held around 10 am - 12.30 am. The candidate needs to report for the exam at 8 am. Gates' closing time is 9.30 am. 

The DAT Prelims for the B.Des programme will be conducted in a paper-and-pencil/pen mode. The question paper may include both textual and visual questions. Other details like duration of the exam, marking scheme, etc., will be published in the DAT Prelims admit card.

The B.Des DAT Mains Studio Test will be conducted from April 26 to May 4, 2025.

The details pertaining to the exam center reporting time, registration time, and exam timings, etc. were mentioned on the admit card. 

Note that the M.Des DAT Mains 2025 exam will be conducted from March 3 - April 6, 2025. 

DAT Prelims comprises a Studio Test for the B.Des program. However, PG candidates are also required to take a Personal Interview.

The GATE closing time for both the B.Des and M.Des courses is 9.30 am (30 minutes before the commencement of the exam), after which no candidate will be allowed inside the exam centre. 

So, make sure that you reach the exam centre at 8 am (the official reporting time).

Note that you may have to go through security checks and registration. If you are late, then you may face a lot of trouble, which is not a good thing to experience on exam day.
