NIFT GAT 2026 answer key will contain the official keys to all the questions asked in the entrance exam. Answer key will be released for each booklet series. Candidates have to download the answer key for their relevant question booklet. The answer key can be used by the candidate to compare their answers. After checking the number of correct attempts, candidates can calculate the number of correct attempts and probable score.

Candidates must remember the following points for NIFT.
- Answer key will only be released for the GAT paper
- No answer keys will be released for the CAT paper
- Answer key has to be downloaded online from the NID admission portal
- Candidate will be given the option to challenge the NIFT answer key
- To make a challenge, the candidate will have to pay INR 500 per challenge. The final answer key will be released after considering all challenges filed by candidates.

NIFT 2026 answer key will be released programme wise for GAT test.
- Download the answer key for their respective program.
- Next, compare teir answers with the official version to calculate the number of correct attempts.
- Then, using the official marking scheme, calculate probable scores.
- Probable scores can be used by the candidate to assess the chances of admission.

NIFT draft key will be released in February. Final key will be released in April 2026. Also, answer key is released only for the GAT written test.

The NIFT 2024 application fee is category-specific. The application fee for General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category. Meanwhile, those belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD Category need to pay only INR 1,500. The application fee has to be paid online using net banking, credit, or debit cards. The application fee will have to be paid at the time of filling out the NIFT 2024 application form. Note that payment made using demand draft will not be accepted.

The NIFT 2026 written exam is the 1st stage of the entrance exam and includes the CAT and GAT. The results for the NIFT written exam will be announced sometime in April 2026. The results can be checked online at the NIFT admission portal - niftadmissions. In. To check your results, log in to the result portal using your email id and password. The scores of the NIFT exam will be used to shortlist candidates for a Situation Test or Personal Interview.

Candidates seeking admission to the PG courses at the NIFTs need to appear in a Personal Interview after qualifying the written exam. The slot booking process for the Personal Interview will open soon after results of the NIFT written exams are declared. The Personal Interview for NIFT 2025 will be conducted for PG candidates, including M.Des M.FTech and MFM courses. The interview will be conducted on multiple days starting sometime in March 2025. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the detailed schedule soon after the declaration of NIFT 2025 written exam results. Note that candidates are required to book slots for appearing in the NIFT 2025 Personal Interview . The slot booking process will be conducted around the 2nd week of March.
