Every NIFT campus offers a merit-based financial assistance programme to qualified students. It is known as SARTHAK under which you may receive up to a 100% scholarship at NIFT depending on your parent's income. There are three slabs in total:
1. Family income up to 1.5 Lacs: 100% scholarship
2. Family income up to 2.5 Lacs: 75% scholarship
3. Family income up to 4 Lacs: 50% scholarship

Yes, you can apply for admission to the NIFT after completing your graduation degree. After graduation, you can apply for post-graduation courses at NIFT. You are eligible to apply for the following courses at NIFT with a degree in any discipline:
1. Master of Design (M. Des) course
2. Masters Programme in Fashion Management (M. F. M)
3. You can also do a Master of Fashion Technology (M. F. Tech. ) if you have graduated in B. F. Tech, B.E. , or B.Tech. You will have to appear in the NIFT entrance exam to apply for these courses. And if it's help you like it

Bachelor of Design or Bachelor in Fashion Technology are distinct courses but follow the same academic stream. Bachelor of Design includes conceptual design, furniture design, interior design, etc. , whereas Bachelor in Fashion Technology allows students to develop, design, manage, and sell fashion items. No, there is no process to get B.FTech (apparel production) even after filling out B. Des in the NIFT application form. I hope this will help you.

There is no age bar for applying to the Masters Programmes in NIFT. Eligibility for Masters Programmes Design, Management and TechnologyDesign M.Des Master of Design
Candidates must have successfully completed any of the following:
Undergraduate Degree in any discipline from any Institute University recognised by law in India or
Undergraduate Diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT NID.

Yes, you can become a fashion designer without taking the NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) exam. It is not the end of the world if you cannot crack the National Institute of Fashion Technology. You may get admission to any other institute to complete the course and become a designer.
