Hey there,
Did you get a rank displayed as per the result for your paper 2?
The cut-off given was that for those who qualified to write JEE Advance. Rank will be given even if you qualify or not.
According to me, 220 in paper 2 is good and you will get admission in nits. Only that you can apply for architecture branch. For other branches they consider the paper 1 rank. If you apply for architecture the rank of paper 2 will be considered.
For more information, kindly google the previous year's opening and closing rank of various NITs.

According to the previous year (2017) stats, the cut-off for B.Arch students in NIT Calicut was:
For OBC home quota:
Opening Rank: 282
Closing Rank: 498
For OBC other state quota:
Opening Rank: 291
Closing Rank: 637

NIT is quite better as NIRF ranking is 50 and COEP ranking is 96 and it is one of the National Institutes of Technology established by the Government of India for imparting high standard technical education to students from all over the country.
