NIT Delhi BTech cutoff 2025 has not been released yet. However, if candidates compare the cutoff for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024 will find out that the closing rank for some of the BTech specialisations has been increased and the competition has decreased. Hence, the cutoff trend of BTech in CSE showcases a declining trend. Check out the below table to get a clear idea:

Yes, internal sliding is available at NIT Delhi after the first year. Students can apply for internal sliding after completing their first semester or first year, depending on their CGPA and the availability of seats in the desired branch. You can go for it but you should have some minimum CGPA criteria in order to do that.

For more accurate and the latest information please visit the official website of  NIT Delhi or by contacting the admission office. It is imperative to follow all the guidelines to get the accurate information.

Yes, NIT Delhi reserves seats under the home state quota for the B.Tech course. The home state quota generally refers to students who have passed their qualifying examination (like 12th grade) from a school located within the same state where the NIT is located.

For NIT Delhi, students from Delhi are eligible for the home state quota, which typically accounts for a certain percentage of the total available seats. The exact number of seats reserved under this quota can vary each year, and it is part of the broader reservation policy governed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

At NIT Delhi, if your parent's income is less than INR1,00,000 per year, you can avail a full remission of tuition fees. This waiver is applicable to General and OBC students, based on their family income. Additionally, you will need to pay for other fees such as hostel and mess charges. The total fees for a semester include tuition, hostel, and mess charges, which will be lower due to the remission of tuition fees.
