Yes, NIT Delhi reserves seats under the home state quota for the B.Tech course. The home state quota generally refers to students who have passed their qualifying examination (like 12th grade) from a school located within the same state where the NIT is located.
For NIT Delhi, students from Delhi are eligible for the home state quota, which typically accounts for a certain percentage of the total available seats. The exact number of seats reserved under this quota can vary each year, and it is part of the broader reservation policy governed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

At NIT Delhi, if your parent's income is less than INR1,00,000 per year, you can avail a full remission of tuition fees. This waiver is applicable to General and OBC students, based on their family income. Additionally, you will need to pay for other fees such as hostel and mess charges. The total fees for a semester include tuition, hostel, and mess charges, which will be lower due to the remission of tuition fees.
