There are some good private universities like SRM University, VIT University, Manipal University and many good colleges in NCR and other parts of country for engineering courses.

vivek I am appearing in class 12 board exams

You can get admission in NIT Agartala, if you have rank till Rs. 2 lakh if you are general, and if you are seeking for admission in a good NIT than you must at least score 200 in Jee Mains and 93 % in CBSE Board. It is easy to take admission with state quota .

+2 board and JEE Mains are both considered for rank to get in the NITs. 40% board and 60% of JEE Mains marks are calculated.

Yes, you can definitely get admission. It mainly depends on the AIEEE entrance test. Rest for board cut-off, if you are expecting 96%, you need not to worry at all. Thanks.

Dear Jayanth,
You should have score above 60% in class 12th with PCM because this is the minimum eligibility mentioned by JEE.
