Hi Pratik, I have a different way of looking at the situation. I fully respect your views and decision but choosing a career or stream should not be decided on the basis of salary alone. According to me first you will have to evaluate yourself. You will have to analyze whether you have good technical skills or you will do better as a manager in banking and finance industry. As you are in NIT ( REC ) getting a job for you will not be a big deal for you. I will recommend you to remain in India after your BTech for at least 2 years. Then you should decide. Going abroad is fine but at least you will have to spend 25-30 lakhs in INR for either MTech, MS or MBA from abroad. Instead of that why do not you think about IIM's, XLRI, JBIMS, NMIMS other prestigious business schools in India and side by side you can pursue International finance certifications like CFA, FRM etc. Even after doing all this you will save lot of money and also can expect exponential growth in terms of money and skills. Always think about salary in your second and third job change. In the first job you first have to learn the skills, understand corporate and then prepare for the challenges accordingly. BTech, Mtech, MBA, MS are just the license for entry level. Once you enter the job industry it is the way you perform and network. 115 is the minimum eligibility score for JEE Advance. Students who have scored 115 or more than that are eligible for JEE Advance this year.
Keeping in mind this year JEE (Main) paper analysis, last year cut offs and only your JEE Main marks (boards not included), you can expect a rank above 75000+
