I think 33000 is your category rank if it is true than your CRL must be around 1 Lacs then you have the chances to get the NIT and iiit for this you have to visit the official website of CSAB to find the previous year opening and closing rank for NIT and iiit. If 33000 is your CRL then you have a excellent chances to get into top NIT top branch for that you have to visit the same website. And also if this is your first attempt of JEE Mains then I would suggest that you have to take a one year drop and prepare well for next year with full dedication and patience and consistency you will definitely get higher ranks in JEE Mains and may b

Yes, it is possible to get a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering through JOSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) or CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) in lower NITs (National Institutes of Technology). JOSAA handles the initial seat allocation for IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other GFTIs based on JEE Main ranks. If there are any vacant seats remaining after the JoSAA rounds, CSAB conducts special rounds to fill those, also based on JEE Main scores.

The cost to study a 4 years integrated M.Sc programme in NITs differs. As an example, at NIT Patna, the total tuition fee of a 5-year Integrated M.Sc. (Physics/Mathematics) amounts to about 6.25 Lakhs Rupee with a total fee including hostel, one time fees etc. coming around to about 7.52 Lakhs Rupee. On the same note, NIT Rourkela shows its aggregate academic fee of approximately 1.93 Lakhs on its 5-year integrated B.Sc. + M.Sc. courses in 2025-26, and 4.68 Lakhs in 2023-24. Such charges tend not to cover hostel and mess charges, which may really increase the overall cost. The precise costs are subject to the certain NIT and the specia

With a 93.36 percentile in JEE Mains and belonging to the General EWS category with a Rajasthan home state, you have a good chance of getting into several NITs and IIITs. While you might not get into the top-tier NITs or IIITs for core branches like CSE, you can likely secure a seat in other branches or in lower-ranked NITs/IIITs.

NITs:

Possible NITs:

You have a good chance at NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Raipur, NIT Jalandhar, and NIT Goa.

Potential Branches:

You could potentially get into branches like Civil, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering in some of these NITs, or even Computer Science in lower-ranked

A 96 percentile in JEE Mains will put you in the general percentage of score between 33000 and 48000. The score is not enough to get an admission in best IITs or most popular faculty members (such as CSE ) in best NITs. But you can easily get into mid-tier NITs (e.g. NIT Agartala, NIT Raipur, NIT SIlchar, NIT Srinagar) in core subjects such as Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or even Metallurgy. You may even secure a place in newer (e.g. IIIT Manipur, IIIT Bhagalpur, IIIT Dharwad) institutes to other branches such as ECE. This is also dependent on your category and quota of home state.

The next five years hold a strong future of Aerospace Engineering; rising air traffic, need of sustainable aviation (e.g. electric/hybrid propulsion, biofuels), growth of autonomous flight systems (drones, AI) and continued space missions. The result is constant demand of engineers in design, testing, manufacturing and maintenance in areas of commercial, defense, and space. In addition to IITs and NITs, good colleges to study Aerospace Engineering are Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Thiruvananthapuram (directly associated with ISRO), Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Manipal, SRM Institute of Science and Tec

He can try for the branches other than CSE and ECE in low range. You can likely get into some IIITs but not the top one's. The specific IIITs available will depend on the category branch and the overall seat availability.
