CCMN 2026 counselling registration has started on May 15, 2026. Candidates can apply for the CCMN counselling 2026 in online mode. Students who have a valid JAM score can apply for CCMN 2026. The eligible candidates can register for CCMN counselling by June 5, 2026. The registered candidates can exercise online choice filling and locking by June 8, 2026. NIT Agartala is hosting CCMN 2026. CCMN 2026 counselling process
CCMN counselling 2026 process commenced on May 15, 2026. The counselling process for CCMN 2026 includes registration, filling counselling form, payment of counselling fee, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the institutes. The first round seat allotment result will be announced on June 12, 2026. Candidates allotted a seat have to pay the seat acceptance fee by June 17, 2026. They have to complete the document verification by June 17, 2026. CCMN 2026 seat allotment for Round 2 will be released on June 22, 2026.

What is CCMN?
CCMN stands for Centralized Common Counselling for MSc and MSc (Tech) admissions at NITs and CFTIs. The CCMN counselling process is conducted based on IIT JAM scores. Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat is conducting the CCMN counselling this year. There are multiple rounds of counselling being conducted to take admission through the JAM score card. The CCMN-2026 counselling is for full-time seats carrying scholarships. It is NOT for students seeking admission to Sponsored Seats or part-time programmes, for which students should contact the respective institutes for the same.

CCMN 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The CCMN 2026 eligibility criteria for participating in the counselling process:

Candidates must have appeared for the IIT JAM 2026 and have a valid score

Candidates belonging to General, General-Economically Weaker Section (Gen-EWS) and OBC categories should have passed BSc or an equivalent course with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60 per cent aggregate and those belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, PWD) should obtain 6.0 CGPA or 55 per cent aggregate

Candidates in the final year of their qualifying degree are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the final mark sheet.

The candidates who possess certificates/qualifications from any of the professional societies (such as The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE), The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (IIChemE), The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), The Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), etc.)
