The low ranked NITs are Meghalaya, Arunachal, Mizoram and Hamirpur, Where cutoff ranks goes above 300000. Hence keeping the safe side you have to score above 80 percentile in JEE Mains for admission in NITs.

Percentile should be under top 20 and must score atleast 75% marks. This is what have mentioned online. Its better to find out the college and check the eligibility accordingly.

I got 72.3 percentage in 12th and 82.23 percentile in JEE Main and my rank is 65148 in JEE Main then I can get seat in NIT or IIITS.
