It depends on which branch you prefer. The best NITs lie in the south, i.e. NIT Trichy, Warangal, Surathkal and Calicut. The other top NITs include NIT Allahabad, Jaipur, Bhopal, Nagpur, Kurukshetra, Durgapur, etc. The best IIITs include IIIT Allahabad, IIIT Trichy, IIITDM Kanchipuram, etc. If you prefer CSE, ECE and IT, then IIIT is the best. I think for your rank, you may get Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Kanchi
