Hello,
Greetings from Shiksha! You have to write an exam called SSARC entrance exam for NITs in Andra Pradesh but you are eligible only if your parents are from India. There, foriegn students are called as DASA students. Good luck!

If you are confident enough to crack IITs in your next attempt, you can drop a year. Otherwise, it's better to join NITs. You shouldn't waste the valuable time of your career.
