Sorry, your rank in JEE paper 2 is too high, because 300+ marks are considered for admission in B.Arch for NITs. So, you should try for any private college.

If you want to improve your marks, you have to attempt all the papers. If you give one or two papers, it will be not considered by the JEE and your previous year marks will be taken into consideration.

You can try for NIT Trichy. Hopefully, you'll get a seat there. Else you can try for MNIT Jaipur, NIT Calicut and MANIT-Bhopal. Moreover, you can also try for SPA's.

There are NIT'S from low rank to high rank. So, it depends if you are getting top NIT's like NIT-Trichy, NIT- Surathkal, NIT-Calicut and as such. Moreover, DTU is one of the topmost college of the country and has a good placement record.
