Hello,
Branch selection is always the biggest dilemma a student encounters, so select that branch only which fascinates you, rather than going for scopes go for interest, if you have interest in something you can turn something big out of small things, however considering your branch choices it will be better for you to go for IT, as per the latest scenario.

I don't think that you will get NIT but search for other colleges through your NATA score or with this score, you may go to some reputed private institutions like Amity, ITM, etc.

Yes, According to Josaa Counselling Process, It is NE to score 75% in HSC in order to get admission in IITs NITs and IIITS for B.Tech.

Since class 12 marks are of no use for getting into NITs, for getting into NITs just go through the website josaa.nic.in. For getting into some private universities, just surf their names on Google.

To get admission in NITs, IITs or IIITs you need to have at least 75% in 12th. So if you have 50% or less and have above 150 marks in JEE Mains. So, you are not eligible to take admission.
