The cut-off for CSE in BITS-Goa lies between 317 to 330 marks in 2017. I don't know the exact iteration number, but probably it's 3rd or 4th.

In my opinion, Govind Ballabh Pant University Pantnagar is far better than the National Institute of Technology-Uttarakhand. GB Pant University is a well established University and also it has been awarded for the best state university. It's campus is very good, faculties are very experienced. NIT-Uttarakhand is still running in its hut like part time campus. I myself have watched it closely. Students only regret after taking admission there. Placements are not good. Few companies visit there for the placement drive. In case of GB Pant-Pantnagar, placement is good. You have nothing to do with your NIT degree until you end up doing a go

2017-81 marks
2016-100 marks

Anything above this you should qualify for counselling in govt. engineering colleges. As competition is fierce, you should secure high marks to qualify for the merit list of the top NITs.

For joining any NIT, you have to appear for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains after your class 12th. Admissions are given solely on the basis of your rank in JEE Mains.

Hello Vishal,
If you just happen to score more than cutoff off, it will not get you anywhere. Cut off is only to restrict number of students who can appear for JEE Advanced. For getting into NIT and good NIT, you need to score percentile of at least 75 in JEE Mains.
