NMIT Bangalore offers a two-year full-time MTech programme. Passed BE/B.Tech in relevant subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for MTech. The course is available in four specialisations, namely:

• Defence Technology
• Electric Vehicle Technology
• Robotics & Artificial Intelligence
• Structural Engineering

A pass in BCA or Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering or BSc/ BA/ BCom with Mathematics at Class 12 or graduation level with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category-1) is required to apply for the MCA course. Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility requirements and submit their proof of eligibility during the document verification round. Any candidate found ineligible during the verification process, will not be given admission.

Yes, the institute accepts Karnataka PGCET for admission through PGCET Quota. However, for admission through Management Quota, candidates can qualify KMAT or Karnataka PGCET. For the MCA course, 50% of the total student intake will be filled through Karnataka PGCET and the rest 50% is filled through KMAT/ Karnataka PGCET (Management Quota). Admissions to PG Management Category will be through first come first serve basis provided the student meets the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned in the website.

Admission to Diploma is course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates who have passed SSLC or equivalent examination with at least 35% aggregate are eligible to apply for Diploma after Class 10 courses. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. 

Diploma is a three-year course divided into six semesters. NMIT Bangalore offers six Diploma courses after Class 10, namely Civil Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. Admission for Diploma is through Management Quota only.

NMIT Bangalore admission to BE is based on KCET/ COMEDK score. However, for admission through Management Quota, candidates must qualify NMIT Admission Test conducted by the institute. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission.

The total tuition fee for NMIT Bangalore BTech programme ranges between INR 6 lakh and INR 14 lakh. The total fee is a cumulative of components such as exam fee, caution deposit, etc. Besides, aspirants also need to pay an exam fee of INR 1,000. Aspirants need to pay the course fee at the time of admission to confirm their seats in the institute.

There are a total of 120 seats available in NMIT Bangalore MBA programme. Candidates are offered seats in MBA programme based on NUCAT score. NUCAT is an online test of two hours. The test comprises multiple-choice questions of a total of 120 marks. Once selected based on NUCAT rank, MBA aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their seat. 

The total tuition fee of MBA is INR 7 lakh. The total fee includes caution deposit, tuition fee, exam fee, etc. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission.
