Admission to NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology MBA is on the basis of bachelor's degree obtained with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1). Candidates must secure valid scores in NUCAT as it is a primary selection criteria after a successful application process.
The deemed-to-be-university conducts NUCAT for admission to UG and PG programmes. NUCAT is a multiple-choice test of 120 minutes comprising 120 questions. The test is conducted in online mode. The shortlisted candidates are further required to appear for the counselling and document verification process.

Among the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks varied between 12227 and 117705. Therefore, for the General AI category candidates, it is possible to get admission to the college at 40,000 rank.
