NTSE NCERT temporarily discontinued the scheme and no official NTSE exam was conducted in 2024 at all levels (including Hyderabad) by NCERT. A certain examination date of some states was tentative or delayed. But there were debates and chances that the plan would restart in 2025 and may still serve students who have missed out. It is also important to check the updated and correct information available through an official NCERT site on the condition of the scheme of NTSE.

First, you gotta be a Class 10 student and crack both Stage 1 (state) and Stage 2 (national) exams. After that, keep your marks up (60%+ yearly) and stay enrolled in legit courses like Science or Social Science. The scholarship starts from Class 11 and can last till your postgrad. Apply via your school or state portal. And yeah, don't forget to attach your docs!

Yes, the CGBSE syllabus covers many important topics useful for competitive exams. Subjects like Science and Maths form the base for exams like NTSE and various Olympiads. However, you may need to study additional concepts or higher-level problems for such exams. It's good to start early and use reference books if you're planning to appear in these exams. A strong understanding of the 10th syllabus will give you a good foundation.

Hi,
Yes, you may be eligible for benefits from another scholarship in addition to NTSE, but this will depend on the conditions of both scholarships. Some may permit multiple awards, while others may have conditions. It is always best to refer to the official guidelines or consult the scholarship providers directly for clarification.
If both the scholarships allow you to, you can enjoy the financial aid without any problems. Hope this is helpful! All the best in your studies.
All the very best.

The syllabus for the NTSE for 2024-25 comprises the MAT and SAT. The SAT is for maths, science, and social Science while the MAT is on verbal and non-verbal reasoning. The NCERT's class 9 and 10 syllabus serves as a basis for the syllabus. However, it must be noted that NCERT does not prescribe any syllabus. Stage 1 will continue to be carried out with the syllabus of that particular state board in some states. The English subject has also been dropped from the NTSE exam.
