The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.

G. Pull Reddy Engineering College institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA). The college offers various fields of Engineering at UG and PG levels. The college was ranked 190 in the Engineering College by NIRF in 2020. The admissions at the college are sought through counseling on the basis of rank secured in the EAMCET entrance exam at UG level while on the basis of rank secured in GATE PGECET at PG level. Training for placement is provided at the college. In 2019, 559 students were successfully placed at various companies at the campus recruitment drive.
