One seat in each subject/discipline of the Master’s and Doctoral programme is reserved for foreign candidates sponsored by ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India. If the seats remain vacant, those seats shall not be filled up by any other categories. In the case of foreign candidates sponsored by the ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India, the deficient courses as decided by the advisor will have to be taken as remedial or prerequisite courses.

The Kashmiri Migrants/ Kashmiri Pandit (Non-Migrants) / Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in the Kashmir Valley are not required to appear in the OUAT PG Entrance Examination. Interested candidates must apply online; otherwise, admission is not allowed. Five percent (5%) of seats are reserved for Persons with Disability (PwD). The candidates applying under PwD category have to produce the original PwD certificate issued from competent authority at the time of counselling and admission

Five per cent (5%) seats are reserved for Children of Green Card Holders. The candidates applying under the Green Card category have to produce the original Green Card of their parents issued by the Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha at the time of counselling and admission, failing which his/her admission to the GCH category seat will be denied.

Also, the name, and date of birth of the candidate along with the parent’s name should match with those mentioned in the Class 10 pass certificate. A Candidate producing a Green Card that is forged/tampered with in any manner will be debarred from admission under the GCH cate

To get admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc. Forestry, B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science, combinations of either P.C.M or P.C.B in Class 12 Science or equivalent are mandatory.

The University offers education in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Fishery Science, Community Science and Forestry in the semester system at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Research and Extension programmes are carried out at the Regional Research & Technology Transfer Station (RRTTS) and/or Sub-stations/ Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVK) located in different parts of the state.

 percentile score is required for Ouat:

The OUAT cut off mark 2024 weightage is that students must have 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry and Biology in SSC (12th) Science and 120 marks out of 200 in the OUAT entrance examination.

Lastest cutoff rank for B.Sc ( Hons) in Agriculture at OUAT is in between 72000 to 78000. But depending on the reservation one can also get the admission for more than 78000 rank
