The university also provides scholarships to the lateral entry students. The eligibility criteria for the lateral programme are discussed below:

·       BTech: Students need to pass a minimum three/ two years Diploma examination with 60% marks for the general category and 50%marks for the SC/ ST/ OBC category from the State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Odisha or equivalent.

·       BHMCT: Students need to pass the Diploma examination in any discipline with 45% marks for the general category and 40% for the SC/ ST/ OBC category.
