Yes, OUAT is approved by ICAR, UGC, and VCI. The university offers admission to various UG, PG and doctoral programs. An agricultural degree is offered at the UG, PG and doctoral levels.

OUAT 2025 Application Form B is now available for undergraduate admission to OUAT, as well as for Agro-polytechnic students who have passed out in 2025-26. The OUAT 2025 Form B is out on the official website for undergraduate admission to OUAT 2025. Along with all the selected UG candidates, the form is also available for Agro-Polytechnic students who have graduated during the 2025-26 academic session and are pursuing admission through Agro-Polytechnic UG Admission.

OUAT UG 2025 registration (Form A) started on March 18 and closed on April 24, 2025. Form B was available from May 22 to June 10, 2025.

Yes, during applying to B.Sc (Hons) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, and Community Science at OUAT, Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology the candidate must have a background of PCM or PCB. Candidates must have passed their Class 12th with these subjects from any recognised board and must have secured at least 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) for this admission.

A Doctoral Programme is a full-time study of three years which includes both course work and research for a thesis. The maximum permissible period for completion of the course is seven consecutive academic years for direct students and eight consecutive years for in-service students. An academic year consists of two semesters each having a minimum duration of 110 working days consisting of 95 Net Instructional Days (NID) and 15 examination days.
