Yes, students are required to carry original documents as well as photocopies during the verification process for admission counselling at OJEE colleges. Students should carry the following documents:

  1. Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet
  2. Graduation marksheet
  3. OJEE admit card 
  4. Government-issued photo ID proof
  5. Caste or category certificate
  6. PwD certificate

No, candidates cannot change the category during the counselling process. Students can select the category during the OJEE registration process. The application fee will be remitted according to the category selected.

For OJEE preparation, students need to have a good planning. When students start preparing for OJEE exam, they should make a timetable that covers complete OJEE syllabus, make short notes, practice mock tests, and above all be focused and confident. Also, while preparing for OJEE make sure that they are well acquainted with the OJEE exam pattern. Make a timetable. Prepare using the right study material. OJEE Cell designs the OJEE mock test in simulation to actual OJEE exam. Infact, previous year question papers are considered to prepare the OJEE mocks tests. Topics of mock test are based on OJEE syllabus. The mock tests have similar exam pattern, format, structure, etc.

OJEE application process 2026 will likely begin in last week of January 2026. Application form for OJEE will be available online and the candidates will be required to pay the application fee online as well.
