OJEE Counselling

For integrated M.Sc. programs at both CET Bhubaneswar (now OUTR) and VSSUT, admission is primarily based on OJEE counseling, with JEE Main scores also considered for some seats. Candidates need to appear for both OJEE and JEE Main and then participate in the respective counseling processes. The final seat allocation is based on the merit list prepared by OJEE, considering both OJEE and JEE Main scores. 

During OJEE counseling students are not allowed to switch from the General category to the Economically Weaker Section category. The selection category entered by a candidate at application time establishes the permanent category for both counseling participation and seat assignment procedures. Policies about changes of categories during OJEE counseling show differences between institutions. Refer to the official OJEE counseling brochure or get in touch with OJEE authorities for precise data about the matter.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat for MBA at NIST through OJEE counselling must report at the campus for document verification. They must carry the following original documents along with a set of photocopies:

1. OJEE Final Allotment Letter
2. College Leaving/Transfer Certificate
3. Conduct Certificate/Character Certificate
4. OJEE Rank Card
5. Aadhaar Card
6. Class 10 Mark Sheet
7. Class 10 Pass Certificate
8. Graduation/Degree Final Mark Sheet
9. Graduation/Degree Pass Certificate
10. Residence Certificate (only for Odisha candidates)
11. Caste Certificate (SC/ST)
12. Category Certificate (Green Card/PC/Ex-Serviceman/EWS)

The OJEE counselling process is online. Candidates have to register online by filling out the OJEE counselling form and paying the counselling fee. Once the students have registered for the counselling process, they can lock their choices as the choice-locking window opens. The OJEE exam authorities will first release a temporary seat allotment on the basis of on choices locked by the students and then release a merit list. They can check their seat allotment online and report to the nodal centre for admission fee payment and document verification.
