In case you don't get the desired college, don't settle for something mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. You can apply and intern as many times as you want but the placement office and professors help you in finding an internship during 3rd year which is a mandatory one. Microsoft and Google have Student Partner and Student Embassador programs. These are the companies that are on campus for CS:
Amazon, ADP, CA Commvault, Capital IQ, Cisco, Dell, D. E. Shaw, Deloitte, GE, Honeywell, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, Syntel etc. Amazon, Google and D. E. Shaw hire 1 or 2 people. The other companies hire about 56. Almost everyone from my class ended up with multiple job offers. Average pay for Goog

Candidates are required to opt for Entrance or Merit mode of admission depending on their percentage in qualifying degree put against the minimum percentage criteria decided by the university for each mode separately. Admission to the students of the University of Delhi will be only on the basis of merit mode. Final Admission
Separate lists will be published for each category consisting of merit rank in qualifying exam or rank obtained in the entrance examination. University will approve the admission on submission of requisite documents and fees. For more information, click here:
