To get admission in SVNIT - Surat, the marks obtained in class 12th will not be considered this year. The score in JEE Mains will be counted. Your AIR will now be based on these marks. Hence, my advice is not to worry and concentrate on preparation for the exam.

Last year L&T did come to recruit.TCS also offered jobs. As per my knowledge 20 of 60 students got placed.

Pdpu is good considering career but not so much placements. You can go for civil engineering. In 2015 companies like L&T and TCS offered jobs with maximum salary of 6 lakh per annum.

PDPU is worth to consider. Best thing about college is good laboratories and faculty and bad thing about PDPU is inexperienced faculty that might appear.

Probably not but still there are chances. So, you should try it.

Well many students don't go placements and many students prefer higher education that's why placements might appear low to you. But yes you can go for admission.

Branch change depends upon seat availability and your CPU.

Although PDPU Never tells about placement but maximum placement in petroleum engineering is Rs.11 lakh per annum.

Yes, you can go for CS because there's a bright future of CS engineers. As computer science is new branch nothing can be said about faculty and placement.
