Panjab University offers full-time MBA to students. Applicants with graduation in any relevant discipline from a recognised university are eligible to join it. The duration of the full-time MBA course is two years. More details about MBA regarding fee, seat intake, specialisation, and important dates are as follows:

Panjab University offers admissions into PhD programme to students after they have appeared for entrance exam. However, the university does provide exemptions on the basis of the following:

  • Candidates who have already cleared any of the national tests, such as UGC-CSIR NET including JRF, SLET, GATE
  • Any prestigious test of national-level scholarship/ fellowship conducted at all India levels on behalf of the national institution (s), for example, GPAT, and JEST
  • Direct awardees of fellowship for pursuing PhD
  • Those working as permanent teachers at Panjab University and affiliated colleges are also exempted from the entrance test.

Punjab University offers a four-year BE programme across eight specialisations along with an Integrated BE (Chemical) - MBA programme. Admission to both programmes is based on JEE Main. To add, the university also conducts and considers the scores of  PU LEET and PU MEET scores for lateral entry admissions. The minimum eligibility for BE and Integrated courses is Class 12 with PCM subjects from a recognised board as per JAC Chandigarh eligibility criteria. All the affiliated colleges of Panjab University offering BTech are part of JAC Chandigarh counselling.

Panjab University conducts PUTHAT for admission to BHMCT and BTTM programmes. Starting with the application, interested candidates are required to go through the course-specific entrance exam followed by other selection rounds (PUTHAT in this case). After the selection rounds are over, course-wise merit lists are released on the official website with the names of the shortlisted candidates. For admission to the three-year LLB programme offered by Panjab University, candidates must appear for PU LLB Entrance Test and score well. PU admission process is currently open for distance learning MBA courses. However, the same stands closed for most of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. All the important timelines regarding the course admissions are as follows:

  • MBA USOL applications 2023 are open and the last date for the same was Jul 2. Further, the last date for submission of the fee and completion of the form was Jul 5 and Jul 7, respectively.
