Panjab University conducts PUTHAT for admission to BHMCT and BTTM programmes. Starting with the application, interested candidates are required to go through the course-specific entrance exam followed by other selection rounds (PUTHAT in this case). After the selection rounds are over, course-wise merit lists are released on the official website with the names of the shortlisted candidates. For admission to the three-year LLB programme offered by Panjab University, candidates must appear for PU LLB Entrance Test and score well. Shortlisted students will have their names appear in the merit lists. Those with their names can pay the admission fee and confirm their seat in the university. PU admission process is currently open for distance learning MBA courses. However, the same stands closed for most of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. All the important timelines regarding the course admissions are as follows:
- MBA USOL applications 2023 are open and the last date for the same was Jul 2. Further, the last date for submission of the fee and completion of the form was Jul 5 and Jul 7, respectively.
- The last date to submit the online admission forms for all UG/Certificate and PG Diploma/Diploma/PG courses 2023 was Jun 26 and Jul 10, respectively. Further, the last date to apply for LL

UIET admission is based on the candidate's rank in JEE Main for B.Tech and 12th percentage for other courses. For the M.Tech programme, candidates are shortlisted based on their PGCET. However, GATE qualified candidates are offered direct admissions without appearing in any other entrance examination. National Level and State level entrance test such as JEE Main GATE UPCET BITSAT. Merit-based admission, UIET also conduct entrance exam for professional courses and also offer admission on the basis of marks obtained in class 12 for courses like B.Sc. And many more and do not conduct any entrance exam.

1. Get the admission form online from the official website of Punjab University Patiala or offline from the regional centre.
2. Fill the form correctly and attach all the required documents such as class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, address proof, caste Certificate (if applicable), etc.
3. Submit the form along with the prescribed fee before the last date of submission.
4. Check the merit list or entrance test result (if applicable) for your selected course on the official website or notice board of the regional centre.
