Both the universities offer MBA course for interested candidates. Both the Universities is have a great infrastructure, faculty members and a great campus life. The only difference is the placement cell. The students at PDM University did not get good placements and only a few of them were hired by the top companies. On the other hand, more than 50% of the students at MERI CET university God placements in Big MNCs. So if one has to choose between PDF university or MERI CET university, one can definitely go for MERI CET in terms of good placements, infrastructure and excellent faculty members.

The eligibility criteria to get admission in MBA at PDM University includes Bachelor’s or Post-graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognised University or an examination recognised as equivalent.
Apart from this, aspirants have to score qualifying marks in National level entrance examination. Candidates with a good score in CAT, MAT or XAT are given priority for admission to MBA.

The two most important National level entrance exams that are conducted for MBA course are CAT and CMAT. CAT is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, whereas, CMAT is conducted by the National Testing Agency.
CAT exam is specifically for taking admission into IIM whereas CMAT exam is considered in any other private or autonomous University. CAT exam is comparatively more difficult than CMAT. The minimum cut off in order to clear CAT exam is 90 to 95 percentile. For CMAT exam also the minimum percentile is 80 to 90 percentile, but for some private universities it can be as low as 25 to 30 percentile.

PDM University is a private University in Haryana established by PDMREA in 1996. The university is run by a renowned group PDMREA, and has a total of 12 institutions. It is one of the best private universities located in Haryana offering a variety of UG and PG courses.
It is ranked 768th in India and 11536th in the World in 2022.All the educational institutes under PDMREA are approved by the UGC, NCTE, DCI, Govt. of India, Govt. of Haryana and CBSE.
The lush green campus is spread across 95 acres with a great infrastructure and excellent faculty.

Since it's a private University, the fees for many post graduation courses might be on the higher side. Aspirants can get all the details regarding the course in fee structure at the official website of the university.

MBA is a 2 year post graduation course. The two main entrance exam that aspirants have to give are CAT and CMAT. CAT exam is usually given to get into top MBA institute IIMs, since they only consider CAT examination as the qualifying exam. Whereas all the other private universities consider CMAT exam as qualifying criteria. In order to get into IIM one has to score a minimum of 90 to 99% whereas for other private Universities the cutoff maybe as low as 25%.

PDM University and MERI CET, both are located in Haryana. Both the universities offers a variety of UG and PG courses. However PDM University is on a much larger scale. It has 12 different institutions run by PDMREA. It is definitely more expensive than MERI CET. For instance the average tuition fees of B.Tech course in MERI CET ranges between 2.2 - 2.6 lakhs. On the other hand the tuition fees for B.Tech in PDM University changes between 2.6 2 3.3 lakhs. For MBA the tuition fees in PDM University ranges between 1.1 - 3.3 Lacs whereas in MERI CET it rangers between 0.5 - 1.5 lakhs.

PDM University is well linked with top recruiting companies like Amazon, Flipkart, HCL technologies, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys and many more. Some of the students get placed with the top recruiting companies while others get a chance to intern at the big companies. However, the university's placement graph consistently dropping since last 2 years. It dropped by almost 35% in year 2021 as compared to 2020. In addition to this there is a huge drop of almost 55% in year 2022 as compared to 2021. The top recruited courses were BDS and BPharma.

PDM University offers a variety of UG and PG courses for the students. The University has 12 different institutions.
Admission to all the courses is merit-based except for MDS, BDS, BTech, MPharm and MBA courses.
