The Pennsylvania State University – University Park general admission requirements are given below:
- Undergraduate: Secondary school academic records or post-secondary record (if any)
- Graduate: All degree certificates
Also, besides the academic records, the applicants are required to submit the English language proficiency score.

- PG applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from regionally accredited US institution or Tertiary (post-secondary) degree which is deemed comparable to a 4-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited US institute
