Please note that ITMI does not guarantee placements: being hired is a reflection of how well you develop your abilities here. However, we make every possible effort to place you well and gainfully in the communication industries. The scope for recruitment includes our own publications and channels. Each year, we will form a Placement Committee under the Dean's Chairmanship. This body will seek out opportunities in the industries and endeavour to provide platforms for recruitment, both on- and off-campus. We have been developing formal and informal associations with organizations that will consider ITMI trainees for hiring.

That particular Diploma is aimed at students who are keen to study accommodation operation and it is usually taken up after a diploma course in the same, but you do have the option of working in the front office, provided you have what is required to do that job.

The minimum eligibility criteria required for Post Graduation Diploma in Cinematography is Diploma in Cinematography or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Those who completed their Bachelor Degree in concerned specialization are eligible.

The entrance test has two components:
1) General Awareness: This section will test whether the applicants are up to date with the news (national, international, business, sports, etc.).
2) Language Proficiency: This section will evaluate the language proficiency (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and writing) of the applicants.
