AP PGECET 2026: Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2026 application form last date without late fee is March 20 (extended). Later, students can apply for AP PGECET 2026 with late fees. The dates can be checked below. AP PGECET 2026 application form link can be checked below once released. The official website to apply is https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/. The application mode is online and is available till April 1, 2026. The correction window will be activated on April 3, 2026. The state-level postgraduate engineering exam will be conducted from April 28 to 30.

Each exam will be held in two sessions/shifts. Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam, conducts the Andhra Pradesh PGECET exam to offer admission to MTech, ME, and other programmes. 

AP PGECET admission process comprises application form filling, along with entrance test, followed by counselling process. Candidates who want to apply for AP PGECET exam must have completed Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks and (45% marks for reserved category). What is AP PGECET?

AP PGECET, which is otherwise called Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam. It is conducted to offer MTech courses in Andhra Pradesh. On behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Sri Venkateswara University conducts the exam. The AP PGECET exam is conducted once a year. Admissions through AP PGECET usually start in March.

AP PGECET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates who want to apply for the AP PGECET exam must go through the eligibilty details carefully. Students not meeting the eligibility will not be accepted for appearing the entrance test. The AP PGECET eligibility 2026 can be checked below -

  • Candidates must be Indian Nationals
  • Must have an Andhra Pradesh domicile
  • Completed bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum pass percentage must be 50% (general category) and 45% (reserved category)
  • Final year or appearing students can also apply
  • GATE or GPAT-qualified candidates are also eligible for AP PGECET

AP PGECET 2026 application form was released on February 6. The exam dates have been announced for AP PGECET 2026-27 session. The mode of application is online and is submitted on different timelines. The AP PGECET form submission is available without late fees as well as with late fees. 

NOTE: GATE candidates can also apply for Andhra Pradesh PGECET exam.

Overall, the Andhra Pradesh PGECET application form process comprises registration, filling details, uploading documents, and fee payment. AP PGECET 2026 Application Form Correction

AP PGECET form 2026 correction window will be activated after the registration process. During form correction process, candidates will be able to make changes and modify their details within the deadline.  To change non-editable details, candidates must send a written request to the authority, providing their payment ID, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number, date of birth, and SSC hall ticket number.

Corrections in Andhra Pradesh PGECET application form are done in two categories: 1 and 2.

In category 1:

The category 1 consists of the details that cannot be changed by the candidate, but a written request can be made to the CONVENOR AP PGECET through e-mail valid scanned documents to helpdeskappgecet@apsche.org, while sending request for corrections. In the mail, candidates have to mention the following details-

  • Qualifying HT number (diploma/degree)

  • Date of Birth and SSC HT number

No it is not compulsory to carry a colour printout of AP PGECET admit card. All details must be clearly printed and not tampered.
