Yes, the BPharm course at LM College of Pharmacy has both theoretical and practical elements which means students have to pass both theory and practical exams to pass the courses in the program and the hours of the programme are also divided into theory and practical depending on the course.

Students have to complete certain minimum credits to complete the programme, credits are divided as per the hours of certain courses and if they have a theory or practical elements. The minimum credit score is two while the maximum credits a course can have is six.

There are 90 seats available for BPharm at LM College of Pharmacy, out of which 49.5% of seats are reserved for the SC/ST/OBC category, while 14% of seats are reserved for Economically Weaker sections (EWS) and People with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).

The cut-offs for the year 2023 for 90 seats of BPharm at LM College of Pharmacy stood at 900023 which dropped from 800149. This meant that admission into the institution was easier in 2023 than in 2022. Cut-offs for the year 2024 will be announced as soon as the admissions process ends, candidates should apply for admissions as soon as they get their accepted entrance results.

According to the NIRF Report, 62 out of 119 BPharm and M.Pharma students were placed during LM College of Pharmacy Placements in the year 2022. Furthermore, the median package for LM College of Pharmacy BPharm rose 25% compared to 2021.

According to Shiksha student reviews, placements at LM College of Pharmacy stood at 70% for the year 2023 with the highest salary package being INR 10 LPA and the lowest salary package being INR 4.2 LPA.

The number of rounds for counselling is not fixed. As long as there are empty seats in the course, counselling rounds will take place. Usually, most of the seats are filled in the first round and subsequent rounds of counselling only happen if there are vacant seats left.

The academic term usually starts after the first round of counselling seats are filled, this year first round of counselling starts on September 12, 2024. Candidates are advised to keep checking the university website and ACPC website for the latest updates on cut-offs and counselling dates.

The median salary package for BPharm at LM College of Pharmacy saw a slight jump between 2021-2022, from INR 2 LPA in 2021 to INR 2.5 LPA in 2022. According to Shiksha student reviews, the median salary package this year might have seen a massive jump as the lowest salary package offered this year was around INR 4.2 LPA.

According to Shiksha student reviews, some of the major recruiters of the year 2023 were Zydus, Cadilla, Intas, etc. The placement in 2023 for BPharm stood at 70% which rose from the 52% combined placement rate for BPharm and MPharma in 2022.

According to verified students’ reviews on Shiksha, the highest package offered during LM College of Pharmacy placements 2023 was  INR 10 LPA and the lowest package for the same year was INR 4.2 LPA. Recruitment was high for the year 2023 as 70% of students who stood for placements were placed.

The salary package saw a big jump because in the years before that 2.5 LPA was the median package for the BPharm course, whereas, according to Shiksha student reviews INR 4.2 LPA was the lowest package offered this year.

Yes, there are multiple Pharmacy colleges better ranked than LM College of Pharmacy in India. As per NIRF rankings 2024, LM College of Pharmacy is ranked #52 in the Pharmacy category which means there are 51 colleges in India which are ranked better ranked than LM College of Pharmacy this year. Some of them include Jamia Hamdard, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, JSS College of Pharmacy, etc.

No, LM College of Pharmacy is not a top-ranked college in the national and global rankings but if we look at the Pharmacy colleges in the state of Gujarat, it is part of the top-ranked colleges in the state. It has consistently ranked in the Top 5 colleges in the state as per NIRF rankings for Pharmacy 2024.

Among Pharmacy universities rankings nationwide, LM College of Pharmacy holds ranking #52 in NIRF rankings 2024. This is an improvement from 2023 where the NIRF ranking for LM College of Pharmacy was #58.

Counselling during the admissions process of LM College of Pharmacy BPharm is the process of document verification and application for the college. It is the first step after the results are announced for GUJCET/NEET/JEE Main.

Counselling for the admission year 2024-25 has started, the mode of Counselling for this year is online. Admissions to BPharm at LM College of Pharmacy take place through GUJCET/NEET/JEE Main. There are no separate application forms released for BPharm at the university. Candidates should keep checking the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) website for the latest updates regarding the admission process.

Once the results for GUJCET/NEET/JEE Main are out candidates can check the ACPC website for the cut-off information of BPharm at LM College of Pharmacy and subsequent counselling process for admissions. The counselling process this year for BPharm will take place online.
