Nichrome wire is used as a heating element because it is very stable, even at high temperatures. Unlike other metals, it will not melt even when generating large amounts of heat. Ironically, nichrome actually has low electrical resistance, the property that causes the wire to heat.

Hi Sundar,
You must take SAT or ACT before applying for a Bachelor's degree in US. Your grades are not too high, so you must work very hard on your SAT. Normally, a TOEFL score of more than 90 is required. Instead of US, you can check countries like UK, Australia and New Zealand basis your scores.

If you want to enter into engineering then you should have good command over maths and physics. If you do not have that then you should drop the idea of engineering and start working on other options.
