m = 10g

l=50cm

A = 2mm2

Y = 1.2 * 1011N/m2

Δx=x*105m

As,  TA=YΔxl

Δx=TlAY

Tl=V2m

V2mAY

=3600*10*1032*106*1.2*1011=1800*103*1061.2

=1812*104=32*104=15*105m

So, x = 15

m = 0.3g density,  ρ (ball)=8g/cc V=mρ=0.38cc

ρglycerene=1.3g/cc=1.3*103kg/m3

Fv + FB = mg.

Fv = mg – FB = .3 * 103 * 10 – 1.3 * 0.38*106*10*103

=3*103.398*102=3*103.5*103

= 2.5 * 103N

= 25 * 104N

x = 25

Breaking stress,  FA=5*108N/m2

F=5*108*104N

F = 5 * 104N

T = mV2lV (max)2==Tlm

Vm2=2.5*103

P = 10% of 110W = 11W

(Visible)

I1I2=ρ4π (1r121r22)

=114*227 (11125)

78* (2425)=a*102W/m2

28*248*102=a*102

 ⇒ 84 * 10-2 = a * 10-2  ⇒ a = 84

For angle of incidence 'i' :-

cos I = 5 4 8 + 2 7 + 2 5 = 5 1 0 0

=> I = 60°

Using snell's law :-

μ 1 s i n i = μ 2 s i n r

sin r =  2 3 s i n 6 0 ° = 2 3 * 3 2 = 1 2

    r = 4 5 °

So, difference, I – r = 60° - 452 = 15°

l = 2 π r

3 1 4 c m = 2 * 3 . 1 4 r

r = 1 2 m = 0 . 5 m

μ = i A

= 1 4 * π r 2

= 1 4 2 * 2 2 7 * 1 4 = 1 1

I A = 9 l + 4 l + 2 9 l * 4 l c o s 0 °

= 1 3 l + 1 2 l = 2 5 l

I B = 9 l + 4 l + 2 9 l * 4 l c o s π

= 1 3 l 1 2 l = l

I A I B = 2 4 l
