Most BPT colleges in Nagpur are affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. This affiliation ensures a standard curriculum and recognised degree across colleges. A few colleges in the state may follow different university affiliations.

No, NEET is generally not compulsory for BPT admission in Maharashtra, including Nagpur. Most colleges base admission on 12th marks in PCB subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% is usually required to be eligible. Some colleges may conduct their own entrance test or merit-based selection. This makes BPT admission comparatively easier than MBBS or BDS.

Nagpur has around 5 colleges offering the BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) course. This includes both government and private institutes catering to different budgets. Compared to cities like Pune, Nagpur has fewer colleges, which means less competition for seats. Government Medical College, Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, VSPM College of Physiotherapy, etc. are the top colleges.

The Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy in Nagpur charges approximately INR 3.80 lakh for its Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) programme.
The fee amount is a total fee for 4 year.
It is possible to pay the fees in installments; however, the last amount must be made by the conclusion of the academic year.
You can pay the fees either offline or online.
