Physiotherapy Eligibility

To get admission in NDMVPS's College of Physiotherapy, students must meet the eligibility. To be eligible students for admission in UG course, students must pass Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised board. For PG admission, students must have a graduation degree in BPT.

To get admission in Mahalaxmi College of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center, the selection criteria is based entrance exam. Admissions are entrance-based. NEET entrance test is considered for admission in the BPT programme.

To get admission in Mahalaxmi College of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center, students must meet the eligibility. The eligibility requirement is to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised board/council.

To get admission in Saket College of Physiotherapy, the selection is based entrance exam. The selection process at Saket College of Physiotherapy is entrance based for their BPT and MPT programme. CET entrance test by Pt. B.D. Sharma University is considered for admission, followed by counselling process.

• BPT: 12th with PCB + English, age 17+, entrance exam.

• MPT: BPT + internship + entrance exam.

• Ph.D.: Master's degree with required marks + entrance test.

SCOP divides seats into two quotas:

85% of seats — “Merit Quota”: for Indian nationals / eligible OCI/PIO candidates. Selection among these seats is done strictly on the basis of NEET‑UG merit (score). 

15% of seats — “Institutional / Management / Discretionary Quota”: these are allotted first to Foreign Nationals and NRIs. If those seats remain unfilled, eligible OCI/PIO or Indian nationals may be considered.

At SVNIRTAR the requirements to pursue a PG course like Masters in Physiotherapy from SVNIRTAR include:

• One must have completed a full time regular BPT or BSc (PT) course at any University
• Completed any and all requirements of the degree course
• Complete the required Internship duration of 6 months for the above course before July 29, 2025

Candidates must pass a PG degree in Physiotherapy i.e. MPT degree by this university, or a master's degree considered as equivalent by RGUHS to apply for Alvas College of Physiotherapy PhD course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.
