Beside that if you have lots of money to spend you may try and get your license from Abroad.
Additional options are (just to be pilot and enjoy the adventure of flying machine; Appear for ND

The average fees for the course would be approximately INR. 25 lacs.

You can apply for entries such as AFCAT CDSE, and there you can opt for flying branch. Once you get selected, it requires 2 year for training and it's free of cost.
