For pursuing CPL the only compulsory educational requirement is 12th with PCM. 50% marks are the minimum required in the combination. B.Sc or any other graduation for that matter is not required. You can although do your graduation, it shall be an additional qualification and shall not be counted for CPL.

Hi,
It will cost you anywhere between 40,000 to 120,000 to train as a commercial pilot. The cost depends on which flight school you are trained at, and the type of training you do. The majority of airlines currently require the student to pay the cost of training. A full time commercial flight training course (known as an integrated course) completed at a European flight school will cost upwards of INR 80,000 to around INR 120,000. Part time training, or a course completed at a various flight training organizations (known as modular training) will start at around INR 40,000 to INR 60,000.

There is no such specific format. Admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2. Interested candidates can apply online with required information. Candidates must submit a Medical certificate from MBBS Doctor.

You should also be aware that the cost of CPL Training is dependent on the type of aircraft you choose to get trained on:
Cessna 152 - Rs.8000-9000 Per Hour
Cessna 172 - Rs.10000-12000 Per Hour
P-16 - Rs.17000-18000 Per Hour
Etc.
And any candidate who gets enrolled for this professional training requires to complete 200 hrs of flying, in order to get his/her CPL issued.
Hence the total cost including accommodation + food goes around 30-40Lakhs.
IGRUA & NFTI are two premiere institutions in India who also have tie-up with international TRTO CAE.
Flying is taught by flying schools and not by universities as CPL is a professional training as I've

The salaries of pilots are similar all over the aviation market. It differs only on the basis of allowances that are paid to the pilots. Any FO can expect an initial salary of around Rs. 1.3-2.0 lacs per month. The flying allowances range between Rs. 1700-2400 per hour. Layover allowances are paid at the rate of $18-24 per day. So for any First Officer who flies around 60-70 hours per month, the salary ranges between Rs. 2.0-3.0 lacs per month.
