To pursue an International Relations course at the UG level, you should have completed class 12, preferably in Humanities subjects. For a course at the PG level, you should have completed a bachelor's degree with specialisations such as political science, sociology, history, cultural anthropology, and related subjects.

No specific entrance exams are required for admission to the M.A. in Political Science at Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit & Ancient Studies University (KBVSASU), Assam. Admission is based on merit, considering the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) is deemed to be University. It was founded by Sri Sathya Sai Baba in 1981. Actually this is a private university only, but offers free education to all of its students (for all courses). So you don't need to pay a single rupee if you get admission. The university has a merit-based admission policy irrespective of income and religion. Here, they follow a system of education that blends secular knowledge with spiritual knowledge. So, there is no fee structure for this university.

The Part-Time PhD student (without fellowship)-It means a person who is registered in the PhD Programme devoting part of his/her time for completing the requirements of the degree while discharging other employment obligations.
