Whether the general test is compulsory for BA Political Science depends on the specific university or college you're applying to. You can go and check out the official website of the university or college you're interested in. Look for the admissions section and specifically for information about BA Political Science programme requirements.
For instance, for Delhi University, the general test is not mandatory for BA Political Science (Hons.) at some colleges.

Irrespective of your subject at 12th board you are independent to pursue BA hons in Political Science at DU. There's no procedure to deduct your percentage even you have taken Arts/humanities in 12th boards but not having political Science as a subject in 12th.
To seek admission for B.A. Political Science (hons) in Delhi University you must sit for CUET. You must attempt any one language from list A + any 2 subjects from list B1 + any 1 subject either from list B1 or B2. You can sit for English Geography, Economics and psychology.

Any CUET score above 700 is good for DU colleges.
CUET is scored out of 800, and the exam comprises multiple-choice questions. The highest cut-off marks for DU admissions typically fall between 650-700.
So you have good chances for Hindu College.

Candidates can get admission for MBA in Public Policy and Leadership at Jain University through JET , KMAT,Karnataka PGCET examinations . They must score above the cutoff required to get admission.
The cutoff information as far as 2024 is concerned is not out yet . They will be available after the examination results are out.
