The placement scenario in SGPJ (sanjay gandhi Polytechnic jagdishpur) is very poor for all streams and branch. When it comes for Diploma it is negligable. The highest package was offered is Rs. two Lacs fifty thousand  (2.5 LPA) offered by Karma Manufacturers, Noida. While 90% of the Batch was unplaced. Only few students got placed at very low package.

For example the range of scores for the Mechanical Engineering Diploma was 79,712 to 56,193 and the range for the Civil Engineering Diploma was 78,253 to 46,683. These ranges also included the cutoffs for other courses such as Electrical and Electronics, Mining, Metallurgical Engineering and Electronics and Instrumentation.
