To join Government Polytechnic Bhojpur, students must pass the Diploma Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE). The BCECE Board, Government of Bihar, conducts the DCECE. 
 
To be eligible for first year admission, students must have passed 10th grade from a recognised board. 12th grade students are also eligible. The BCECE Board makes the final decision on applicant eligibility.
