In order to obtain your NTT certificate from Akhil Bharatiya Prem Devi Shikshan Prashikshan Sansthan, Kanpur (which we got in 1998) you should put in a direct call to the institute with information like your full name, the year of your pass out, name of the course, and any of your documents which you may have at your disposal like mark sheets or ID proof; if they ask for it put in a written application and pay the reissue fee, also out at that the institute was affiliated to any recognised board or council which may be required for additional verification.

There is always confusion among a lot of people regarding primary and preschools. Through this answer let's try to understand it a little better, preschool or pre-primary focuses on children aged between 3- 6 years of age. It helps children to learn and evolve by helping them at their foundation stage. On the other hand, primary focuses on children aged between 6 - 12 years of age. The children under this age group are a little older than the preschool ones.

Pre Primary Teachers deal with children belonging to the age group of 3- 6 years. There are a lot of good courses to become a PPTT teacher. Mentioned below are a few courses that are considered best for PPTT:
- D.El.Ed/ Basic Training Certificate
- Graduation with 1-year B.Ed
- Diploma Course in Nursery Teacher Training

Of Course, ECCE is a very useful qualification if you plan to work with:
- Anganwadi centers (run by the Ministry of Women & Child Development)
- Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS)
- Balwadis under NGOs
- Foundation schools under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan
- Government recruitment often looks for candidates with ECCE/child development background especially for supervisory roles.
Also, after ECCE you can appear for relevant state-level or central government teacher eligibility exams (depending on guidelines).

No, NPTT itself is not regulated by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) unlike D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. But many private schools accept NPTT qualified teachers especially in Delhi NCR, Tier-2 cities, Private chains like Kidzee, EuroKids, Bachpan, etc. It is advised to always check if your training institute is approved by SCERT or affiliated to a reputed board.

People often get confused between these 4 courses. However, we have summarised this information to clear your confusion sorted. Here is a comparison table that will help you differentiate between NTT, PTT, NPTT and D.El.Ed courses:
| Course | Focus | Class Level | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| NTT | Pre-primary only | Nursery (3–5 yrs) | 1 year |
| PTT | Primary only | Classes 1–5 | 1–2 years |
| NTT | 3–12 years | 2 years | |
| D.El.Ed. | Elementary education | Classes 1–8 | 2 years (Govt-recognized) |
NPTT covers both NTT and PTT, but D.El.Ed. course degree is required if you want to work in government primary schools. Hope this information helps!

Absolutely! A large number of NTT students are graduates who want to build a career in education or switch careers. But in my opinion if you already have a Bachelors degree then go for B.Ed as it opens more career opportunities. Being a graduate also opens up more growth opportunities after NTT, like pursuing B.Ed, D.El.Ed, or MA in Education later.

Of course, most NTT programs include practical training or internship in a preschool or nursery school as a compulsory component.
This includes Classroom observations, Assisting lead teachers, Conducting circle time, activities, rhymes, or storytelling sessions. It also includes Managing classroom discipline and child engagement, Creating and using teaching aids.
Practical training helps build confidence, classroom handling skills and real-life teaching experience.
