• Government Schools (After CTET & Selection): INR 30,000-INR 45,000/month.
• International / High-End Preschools: INR 20,000–INR 35,000/month.
• Tuition or Coaching Centers: Based on number of students and how much charge for each student.
• Own Preschool: Individuals can easily earn INR 50,000+ monthly with success.

While initial salaries may be modest, growth is steady and you can eventually take up admin or head-teacher roles.

Students who wish to enter BTC Basic Training Certificate in 2025 must fulfill the requirements of holding a bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any field. Admission begins with entrance testing before proceeding to counseling for allocating seats. The Uttar Pradesh BTC application form will become available online during June 2025 while General/OBC applicants must pay INR 400 and SC/ST applicants must pay INR 200 but PH candidates need not pay. The annual college fees for BTC differ between government educational institutions that charge INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 annually and private institutions that charge INR 40,000 to INR 50,000 yearly.
